Edward Sharpe Speaks Up
August 9, 2012 by Alex Collins
It’s always exciting to hear the inspiration behind why a song is written, especially when the inspiration is something anyone reading this has surely felt.
Edward Sharpe, through our friends at The Voice Project, joined Invisible Children as an integral part of The Musician Coalition. Listen to Alex speak about about his work in trying to help bring the LRA conflict to an end and why he wrote the song “Let’s Win” below. Well done.
To the boys of Uganda
Come home, and fly me in
To the children of no one knows
Take my arm, oh fly me in
Oh, dancing, yeah, let’s win
