White House to hold event on Monday to honor the pledge of “Never Again”

In the wake of President Obama’s speech at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the White House is hosting an event on Monday, April 23rd at 1PM EST – 3PM EST with senior administration officials, who will discuss how the United States is honoring the pledge of “never again” by developing a comprehensive strategy to prevent and respond to mass atrocities. The event will also feature discussions among Administration officials, student leaders, technology pioneers, and members of non-governmental organizations about how communities across America are mobilizing and playing a role in saving lives around the world.
Invisible Children’s CEO Ben Keesey will be speaking on a panel moderated by Alec Ross. This event will be streamed online at www.whitehouse.gov/live.
