Meet the Roadies: Cal Pac
These four really got the short end of the National Tour stick. While other teams enjoy the delicious arctic blasts of Minneapolis or Chicago, Cal Pacific will be trudging through sunny Southern California for eight torturous weeks. To make matters worse, our merciless management is then forcing Cal Pacific to end their tour of agony in Hawaii. May God have mercy.
But make no mistake, these brave soldiers for peace are walking into this mission with resolve, recognizing that lasting change requires sacrifice; a sacrifice they are willing to make. They will not let themselves be knocked down and discouraged by the sunshine, beaches, beautiful people, and tropical climate. They are determined to bring Invisible Children to the most brutal and trecherous corners of this country. And we thank them.
In all seriousness, no matter where tour takes you, life on the road is hard and required 100% dedication. Chip, Hailey, MJ, and Josh have accepted that challenge. They make up the stellar Cal Pac family that will be traveling through San Diego, the OC, Inland Empire, Yuma, AZ, and finally Hawaii. They absolutely love everyone that they have met so far and are excited to bring the story of Invisible Children to more incredible communities.
Chip Hunn (21), Chicago: “is a nerd…..and loves it.”
MJ Parsons (19), Boiling Springs, SC: can’t live without music and can think of a song for every situation.
Hailey Mitsui (21), Seattle, WA: would DEFINITELY put Sister Act II in her top 3 favorite movies.
Josh Merrit (18), Gilbert AZ: Just got back from northern Uganda and “left part of his heart there.”

Regarding the text on the main page for this link, no wonder you get “howly” hate, it’s actually spelled and pronounced “haole”. But Hawaii loves you anyway! We can’t wait to have you tour here.
